Intro: Stephanie Hadfield

I put in this video because I feel like it gives a great discussion on how we can talk with our libraries about the digital world and what is going to happen to the libraries themselves if they don't give access to all of their books online.  Yes, there are ebooks but there are not enough titles that are ebooks.  Between access to Google, Apple, and Amazon, giving full access to books right at the 21st century people's fingertips and it's all the millions of books that are out there.  From today's titles all the way to Shakespeare's writings, maybe even before that.  Public Libraries are at a competition between those 3 digital major companies they don't have a chance. Not unless we the patrons voice our opinions and speak with our Branch Managers about it.

  1. I changed the Archives to Library Tech Blog Archives! Hopefully that adds something to contribute something to this project to get credit!
